Transfer Trimurthulu

The core point chosen doesn’t have enough meat, and that’s the key shortcoming of Transfer Trimurthulu. The hero trying to expose a crime and deliver justice to the victim is a theme that has already been explored in many films, and there aren’t any out-of-the-box ideas to compensate for the familiar premise. The screenplay isn’t written well either to hold the attention throughout. There are decent moments, but they are few and far between. The court proceedings towards the end remain watchable thanks to the presence of Vadlamani Srinivas and Sivannarayana, but the twist dilutes the impact altogether. It is highly reminiscent of a decade-old star hero film which also dealt with a similar theme. An original idea with better writing for the climax could have worked much better.

Transfer Trimurthulu story is written by Kamal Teja Narla. Right from the start till the finish the narration, screenplay turns out to be uni dimensional. His thought process remained outdated and out of sync with the current generation. He still followed the same hero elevations, three songs, six fights, item song and cheap comedy scenes. With in five minutes into the story, viewers will be treated the same monotonous scenes that test their patience to the core. It increases with the passage of time and reaches its peak in the second half. The interval comes as a break from this torture. The story lacks basic emotions and everything looks artificial.

The core idea of the film is actually quite interesting. The concept of a sincere constable shaking the foundations of a corrupt and powerful Chief Minister’s regime has strong dramatic potential. However, such a premise requires intelligent writing and convincing execution. Instead, the film relies heavily on formula-driven storytelling and mass-hero moments that do not align with either the character’s profession or Vadde Naveen’s screen persona.

The best part of the film is that the hero is not showcased as an all-powerful figure. Instead, he is portrayed as a man under pressure trying to deliver justice, and this aspect has been handled reasonably well. However, the family bonding in the film fails to evoke proper emotions. The relationships are weak, and this creates a dull viewing experience. There were a few logical flaws as well, especially the special song, which feels silly. Right from the start, there is nothing novel that has been showcased. A majority of the scenes are dull and create a sense of déjà vu.

The film deserves appreciation for attempting to highlight the importance of an honest constable. It tries to show that even a lower-ranked police officer can make a difference if he remains committed to justice. The idea is promising, but the execution lets it down. Despite having a serious subject, the storytelling feels patchy and outdated. The writing, screenplay, and direction often reminds the audience of an old television serial rather than a gripping investigative drama. Instead of maintaining the seriousness, the film repeatedly interrupts itself with commercial elements like hero introduction songs, unnecessary dance numbers, fights, and forced elevations. These moments only dilute the emotional impact. Several scenes stretch logic beyond acceptable limits. A constable taking on the Chief Minister during an election campaign feels cinematic.

Analysis Transfer Trimurthulu succeeds because of its strong emotional content, socially relevant theme, and Vadde Naveen’s heartfelt performance.
