Ohh My Dog

Amit Rai's screenplay is gripping and peppered with thrilling as well as clapworthy moments.

Aman Pant's music gives the film an emotional warmth, elevating several moments that might otherwise have fallen flat.

The film touches upon dogs being kidnapped for meat, child labour and poor workers being duped into selling their kidneys, sometimes without even receiving the promised money.

His direction reflects that he was not merely trying to make an entertaining film, but also wanted to evoke empathy among audiences.

Co-producer and director Amit Rai has himself penned the watertight script and the very grounded filmmaker-writer still enlists Jia Saxena as script supervisor.

You have Pankaj Tripathi, Pawan Malhotra, Geeta Agrawal and the young actor Maahi Rai, who is excellent.

What could have been better If there's one area where the film falls weak, it's the pacing.

Each expression captured on camera is simply brilliant.
