On the flipside, some scenes that were meant to induce laughter like the intro scene, Aryan experimenting with a man named Dubey etc fail in their endeavour. The sequence where the men get drunk is where the makers try too hard to be funny. The chaos and madness that the makers wanted to highlight in a joint family didn’t come out as planned. The biggest issue, however, is the climax. It is abrupt and sudden and the way it unfolds will leave the audience shocked. The message is understandable but from the execution point of view, it falters miserably. The promise of a sequel fails to correct the minuses.Read at source

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya
Aryan Agnihotri, a robotics engineer from Delhi now based in Mumbai, is invited to the United States by his aunt Urmila Shukla, who runs a robotics company in Los Angeles. There, he meets SIFRA (Super Intelligent Female Robot Automation), whom he believes to be human. Unaware of her true identity, Aryan develops feelings for her, but later discovers that she is an advanced humanoid robot created as part of an experiment. Distressed by the revelation, Aryan returns to India and agrees to an arranged marriage. However, he soon realizes that he still loves SIFRA. Encouraged by his grandfather to follow his heart, Aryan asks Urmila to send SIFRA to India under the pretext of further testing in a traditional family environment. Urmila agrees, and SIFRA's presence in Aryan's household leads to several humorous and emotional situations. Aryan's family, unaware that SIFRA is a robot, accepts her as his partner. However, complications arise when a faulty software update corrupts SIFRA's memory. Aryan manages to restore her system using a backup provided by Urmila. Upon learning of Aryan's intention to marry SIFRA, Urmila initially objects, citing ownership concerns, but eventually relents after an emotional discussion. During the wedding ceremony, a power failure causes SIFRA to malfunction. Her system begins executing conflicting commands, leading to destructive behavior.

For a film which wants to be a family entertainer, there are risible sequences featuring men peering down low-cut blouses-and-bosoms, and tasteless wife jokes. Monty the Hero’s Best Friend does exactly what BFFs have done for decades, make the hero look good: when will this oldest, creakiest device be dumped? Some of the snappiest lines in the movie are reserved for Kapoor, and when he is not being mannered and conscious of his hero-status– just a guy standing in front of a gal– he reminds you that he can be something to look at, like he did back in ‘Jab We Met’. And then the movie is taken away from the strengths he plays to, and starts swinging wildly: is it a robot-com, or a robot-horror, or just another stab at this, that and the other?Read at source
