Kohrra Season 2

Kohrra season 2 excels like few second seasons have before, save for Delhi Crime and Paatal Lok. In six episodes, it manages to set the ambience, suck us in, and engage us with the twists and the turns.

Kohrra Season 2 stays true to its core - it is not loud, and not designed for instant thrills. The series, instead, moves quietly, sitting with grief, death, broken relationships, and the emotional weight its characters carry.

Ultimately, the writing overall is neither fresh nor tight enough, with some climactic revelations feeling tacked on without being worked on enough. Which results in the payoff, unlike last time, not being rewarding enough, the engrossing parts coming up only intermittently.

Kohrra Season 2 stands tall on Mona Singh. A performance that speaks, cries and protests quietly even as she tries to revive her nearly dead marriage with an alcoholic husband.

It may not surpass the shadow cast by the original season, but it remains a compelling continuation — thoughtful, character-driven, and atmospherically rich.
