Little fine tuning of the script, exciting screenplay, having strong emotions, powerful characterizations and suitable cast could have added more bite.

Isakapatnam doesn't break new ground for the genre, but thanks to its performances, convincing setting and assured filmmaking, it remains consistently watchable even when the screenplay settles for familiar territory.

The narrative, however, tries to remain engaging because it focusses more on the people involved than on shock value.

Time passes because the screenplay says it has, not because the world around the characters changes in any meaningful way.
