India Today
As the protagonist mentions, these intrusive thoughts would make her feel like a puppet. However, having a friend or partner, who understands their fear and knows how to calm them, can help them lead a normal and full life. Though fictional, these tales are relatable and may remind viewers of someone they know. While the shorts are educating and thoughtful, some of them fail at the execution level. Fortunately, Zindaginama is not preachy but a couple of stories seem slightly superficial, and even predictable. The stories fail to tap into the complex emotions and sufferings and rather emerge as just a cinematic experience. The production quality is top-notch, and the 35-40 minute length works best for an anthology like this. The makers have also taken an upbeat tune for narration rather than making it negative and cynical.
