Amar, the commander of a black ops squad, is tasked by Police Commissioner Jose to investigate a group of masked vigilantes who executed Stephen Raj, ACP Prabhanjan, and Prabhanjan's foster father, Karnan. Stephen had been targeted shortly after his release from prison for aiding drug lords Adaikalam and Anbu. Puzzled by the inclusion of Karnan—seemingly an ordinary civilian alongside two high-ranking narcotics officers—Amar digs deep into his background. He uncovers a carefully constructed cover story: Karnan feigned severe alcoholism and vice to mask a covert operation, all while fiercely protecting his foster grandson. Amar also learns that Sandhanam, the kingpin of a massive syndicate called Vettai Vagaiyara, is desperately searching for two missing drug containers. These containers belong to a larger shipment intended for Rolex, Sandhanam's cold-blooded boss, who has threatened to slaughter Sandhanam's entire family unless the missing contraband is recovered. When a corrupt PWD official named Veerapandian tries to smuggle the containers to Sandhanam, the masked vigilantes assassinate him inside a theatre. Amar's team manages to capture Bejoy, an ex-cop turned vigilante whose family was wiped out by the syndicate after a major drug bust in Trichy. Realizing that corrupt contractor Rudra Prathap is the next target, Amar’s unit infiltrates Prathap's daughter's wedding, where Sandhanam has arrived for protection.
