Directed by Sachin Pathak, Perfect Family is refreshingly relatable. It resists the glossy facade of the 'happy family' and instead presents something real. It has messy relationships, unspoken resentments, flawed individuals, and the slow and painful process of change. The series doesn’t claim that therapy magically fixes everything, but it does show that healing begins the moment one is willing to look inward. The show doesn't get preachy. However, there are too many flashbacks that the show deals with, and often it gets confusing to maintain a track. The narrative does drag a bit in the middle, making it feel like the story could have been tightened and didn't need 8 episodes to be told.Read at source
