Synopsis

Kaandhari

The film juxtaposes Uttara Kannada of 1801 with its present-day self. Through Kalave's narration and striking visuals, it captures bustling urban centres rising amid ancient forests, alongside relic forests that still shelter rare flora, fauna, and forest dwellers bound to nature since antiquity. Even amid modernisation, echoes of rustic life and timeless ties to the past remaininviting reflection on the ongoing bond between nature and humanity.
