Despite facing rejection from society due to her father's low social status, Jaya remained determined to complete her education and excel academically. Her father's love and support helped her overcome the obstacles, and she caught the attention of Tripathi's son Shashank during a college event. Jaya was left destitute and gave birth to a son with the help of a pandit. Devastated and disillusioned, Jaya started working in a crematorium, burning dead bodies alone.
