Heartiley Battery

Heartiley Battery

After watching her parents' marriage collapse, scientist Sofia grows up convinced that love is only a mix of biological and chemical reactions; as an adult she invents a Love Meter meant to measure whether a bond is genuine and to keep her from being hurt. Sid, a freewheeling comic writer, believes love is instinct and unexplainable emotion and rejects the idea that a machine can decide the heart. When their paths cross, her need to prove love can be decoded and his determination to show that it cannot become the conflict that draws them together, even as the device begins to test the people around them.
