Amala Paul (born 26 October 1991) is an Indian actress and producer who primarily works in Tamil and Malayalam films. She is a recipient of a Tamil Nadu State Film Award, a Filmfare Award South and two South Indian International Movie Awards. Amala started her career in the Malayalam film Neelathamara (2009), and later appeared in the Tamil film Mynaa (2010), which earned her the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress.
