TezScore is not a user rating

TezScore is an average of scored reviews from Indian critics and publications only — not a user rating, and not IMDb or Rotten Tomatoes.

Indian cinema has never had a shared register on the web. In June we said we would keep pages empty where we lack a verified value. Critic scores follow the same rule.

TezScore is an average of scored reviews from Indian critics and publications only. It is not a user rating. It does not include IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, or other global aggregators. Those may appear as clearly labelled references; they never change TezScore. Text-only Indian reviews still sit on the title page without an invented number.

Coverage stays honest. One or two scored reviews is Early. Three to seven is Growing. Eight or more is Strong. A title can show Unfavourable and still be a complete page — for example, Gandhari (3 Sep 2026) currently sits at TezScore 44 from nine scored Indian-media reviews on its title page.

The homepage Pulse and the Indian cinema calendar keep the same register current: trailer launches and releases, newest first, month by month. Both link into title pages. The writing and the record stay joined.

We’re still building in public. If a page about you or your work could be better, the sources at the foot of every page are where we started — tell us where to look next.
