He criticized the impalpable tension in the film, the weak script and the easily predictable twists but applauded the screen time between Vikram and Swastika, their individual performances, the editing and the cinematography.

He praised Abir's performance but bemoaned the fatigue on his face in some scenes, termed Mimi as "Lady Singham" but bemoaned her being reduced to a heroine craving for her man and applauded Ankush's strong performance.
